American Pet Products Association (APPA) To Be Honored at Green Chimneys’ Spring Gala
(Greenwich, CT) – Bob Vetere, President and CEO of the American Pet Products Association (APPA), is pleased to announce that the Association has been chosen by Green Chimneys as the organization’s 2014 Spring Gala honoree. A long-standing partner and supporter of the organization, Green Chimneys is recognized as a worldwide leader in animal-assisted therapy and educational programs for children with special needs.
“We’re incredibly honored to receive this recognition from Green Chimneys,” said Vetere. “We wholeheartedly support their main mission and dedication to helping people through animal-assisted programs and look forward to our continued work and success with them.”
Taking place May 15, 2014 at the New York Botanical Garden, Green Chimneys’ annual gala will raise funds for innovative education and animal-assisted therapy programs for children with special needs, and the care of the animals that support these important services. This year’s gala, The Rhythm Of Success, will honor APPA and celebrate the success of students who have successfully benefited from Green Chimneys’ programs.
