PAL Campaign Lands Celebrity Endorsements From Victoria Stilwell & Alison Sweeney

(Greenwich, CT) – Pets Add Life (PAL), founded by the American Pet Products Association (APPA), is pleased to announce celebrity endorsements from Victoria Stilwell and Alison Sweeney. Each will help promote a series of PAL’s new YouTube videos while supporting the non-profit campaign’s main mission of highlighting the joys and benefits of owning pets and encouraging multiple pet ownership.

“We are thrilled to have Victoria and Alison on board this year in support of the PAL campaign,” said APPA President Bob Vetere. “They are great advocates and spokespeople to help spread PAL’s efforts and the overall promotion of multiple pet ownership in 2012.”

Victoria Stilwell is the star of Animal Planet's hit TV series Its Me or the Dog where she shares her insight and passion for positive reinforcement dog training by taming some of the world’s most unruly pets as she counsels families on their pet problems. In addition, she is the author of the best-selling book Its Me or the Dog: How to Have the Perfect Pet and in 2010, launched Victoria Stilwell Positively Dog Training, the world’s first global network of hand-picked, world-class positive reinforcement dog trainers. As one of the world’s most respected and recognized dog trainers, Stilwell reaches audiences in more than 50 countries and has also served as a judge on CBS’s Greatest American Dog.

This will be Alison Sweeney’s second year supporting PAL. Currently, she hosts NBC’s hit reality series The Biggest Loser in addition to playing the award-winning role of Sami Brady on NBC’s hit daytime drama Days of our Lives. An advocate towards pet health and obesity awareness, Sweeney has also teamed with dog food company Hill's Science Diet for the second annual Million Pound Pledge, a fitness challenge for dogs and cats, and is the proud owner of a Boston terrier, Winky.
