APPA Elects Board Members to New Two Year Term
- The American Pet Products Association (APPA) elects six individuals to a two year term as Board Directors for APPA at the annual meeting of members held March 24, 2010-

(Greenwich, CT)— Bob Vetere, president of the American Pet Products Association (APPA), is proud to announce the elected individuals who will serve on the APPA Board of Directors for the 2010-2011 term.


“The following individuals truly exemplify the spirit of the pet industry and the mission of the American Pet Products Association and we are thrilled to elect them to a new two year term,” said Vetere.


The following Board Members were elected to a new two year term:
o Paul D. Cooke, Nestle Purina Pet Care Co., St. Louis, MO
o Glen R. Fleischer, Central Garden & Pet Co., Walnut Creek, CA
o Roger Morgan, Bramton Co., Dallas, TX
o William Pearson, Pearson Industries, Inc., Prattville, AL
o Diane Peterson, Mulligan Stew Pet Food, Jackson, WY
o Robert Scharf, Sergeant’s Pet Care Products, Omaha, NE

Continuing APPA Directors for the coming year are:
o Michael Farmer, Global One Pet, Grapevine, TX
o Robert Merar, General Pet Supply, Milwaukee, WI
o Michael O’Bryan, Virbac Corporation, Fort Worth, TX
o Kenneth Oh, JW Pet Co, Teterboro, NJ
o Sean Rowe, Veterinary Ventures, Inc., Reno, NV
o Bob Shipley, Hartz Mountain Corporation, Secaucus, NJ

The following were re-elected APPA officers for the 2010-2011 term at the Board of Directors meeting, held immediately following the Annual meeting:
